A long and beautifully made Georgian corded-link chain in rich 15ct gold, measuring a full metre in length. The links have the distinctive spiral/twist formation typical of late-18th and early-19th-century English work — light-catching, tactile, and subtly architectural.
Completed with its original barrel clasp set with a deep red garnet and decorative granulated shoulders. These clasps were both functional and ornamental, often worn at the front as a focal point.
A substantial, versatile Georgian chain that can be doubled, layered, or worn long.
